Memorial Day Parade - Naperville, IL

All chapter members, family and friends are invited to march with the Chicago Chapter in the Memorial Day parade in Naperville, IL.

Staging will begin at 09:00 in the parking lot at Centennial Beach in Naperville -- look for the chapter flag! We'll have donuts, coffee and water during staging. We'll also have at least one vehicle in the parade to drive members who are mobility-challenged. Parade step-of is scheduled for 10:30.

The parade will wind through scenic downtown Naperville in front of a large and very patriotic crowd, and then end at Central Park where a Memorial Day ceremony will be held beginning about 12:15. Transportation back to Centennial Beach will be provided.

Following the ceremony, the Judd Kendall VFW will host a free lunch at their facility beginning about 13:30. The hall is located just a couple of blocks West of Centennial Beach on Jackson Ave.

We will march behind our brand new parade banner and carry the chapter and U.S. flags. All participants are encouraged to wear distinctive Airborne gear at their discretion, including military uniforms, polos, t-shirts, whatever you are comfortable in. This is a public event, so firearms, illegal knives, etc.
